Handbell Choir
Handbell Choir: If you don't like to sing but would like to serve the Lord through music, join the Handbell Choir. We practice on Sundays, 3:00-4:00 p.m. in the Handbell Room.
Handchime Choir: This is a unique opportunity for older people, or for everyone interested in something new. Handchimes are extremely light, and that is very good for your hands. Even big chimes are not heavy. They have a sweet and gentle sound. You will enjoy each moment of practice. Day and time of rehearsals will be discussed.
Our Handbell Choir can ring a 4-octave (plus the big C) set of Malmark handbells. We rehearse on Sunday afternoons at 3:00 p.m. and play regularly for the 11:00 a.m. Service of Worship. We also participate in the Music Ministries’ Advent/Christmas performances, the annual area Winter Ring, present a Spring Concert, and occasionally travel to other venues to perform, as invited. Basic music reading skills are required for this ensemble.
